Folk Medicine in the Peruvian Amazon.

This is an essay I wrote in my undergraduate studies at The Evergreen State College (2013) concerning the art and science of traditional healing practices in the Peruvian Jungle, particularly amongst the Quechua-Lamista and Shipibo cultures. The essay covers a broad spectrum of subjects, from historical events that have transformed the cultural knowledge base to the cosmological and cultural belief systems that inform and support the practices of plant medicine therapies.
